Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 25, 2026

In footage from last Sunday, the Terry Golden and the Kick Ass Wrestling outlaws have to be forced away from the ring.

Dustin Starr interviews Sycho Simon at the announce desk. Simon is about to speak when Robbie Maddux and Major Curtis suddenly show up. Major Curtis accuses Simon of brainwashing Maddux only for Simon to grab him and throw him into the ring. Simon then grabs a metal folding chair and smashes it across Major Curtis' back before hitting him with the elbow drop. He then grabs the spiked shoulder pad, and Robbie Maddux and members of security have to stop Simon from hitting Curtis with the spikes.

Backstage, we hear from "Action" Mike Jackson, who talks about his history with wrestling in Memphis, Tennessee before declaring he wants to be the longest-reigning Junior Heritage Champion.

In footage from last Sunday at Ghost River Brewing Company on Main Street, Team Memphis Wrestling (Derrick King and "The Gift" Ray Sanders) beat Team Kick Ass Wrestling (Danny B. Good and Chris Rocker) in a steel cage match after Sanders climbs out of the cage. After the match, Motley Crews and Terry Golden get in the steel cage and attack Derrick King before being escorted away from the ring.

We hear from James Elllsworth, who has not been in Memphis Wrestling for some time. James Ellsworth messes with Big Dan and is met by The Super Friends (Wonder Boy and The Shocker), who think that Ellsworth is looking for them. Ellsworth says he is looking for The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte), then he finds out the hard way that "plug it in" is more than a gimmick.

Backstage, Bobbi Thunder is confronted by Xya, who says that she will be watching her match with Raven Black and that she wants the winner.

Raven Black retains the Memphis Wrestling Women's Championship against Bobbi Thunder. After the match, Raven Black grabs a bottle, but Xya shows up with a metal folding chair and chases her out of the ring.

Backstage, James Ellsworth is still feeling the effects of being shocked by The Shocker when Notorious Bradley tries to call Ellsworth. Ellsworth touches Ruffshot Lamonte's shoulder from behind and gets knocked out cold by Lamonte with one punch. The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamonte) have to get Ellsworth some medical assistance.

Dustin Starr interviews Tim Bosby at the announce desk. Bosby admits that he lost the Heritage Championship and that Mike Anthony beat him on July 4th, then says that this is still his era and he will get the title back to become a three-time Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion. Bosby wants his championship rematch in two weeks, and he wants his rematch to be a two-out-of-three falls match, which he has never lost. He says Mike Anthony got lucky, but he will not get lucky again. He then proclaims that when he wins, he will shove his victory down everyone's throats.

Backstage, Gavin White is looking for Kevin White and cannot find him.

The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) vs. The Whites (Kevin and Gavin White) for the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships ends in a no-contest. The Whites (Kevin and Gavin White) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships. At the start of the match, Gavin White comes out without Kevin White, having been unable to find Kevin. Gavin tells Dustin Starr that Kevin was here, but he cannot find him. Tim Grind says that The Bizness Dawgs want this match, and Lil' Grind proclaims that Kevin is scared and demands that Gavin either relinquish the tag team titles or face them two-on-one. Gavin says he is not a quitting man and faces The Bizness Dawgs two-on-one. During the match, however, The Slaugherhouse (Reverend Ash Taylor, Jagged James, Nasty Nick) show up and decimate both teams.

Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for July 18, 2026

Matchmaker King Cobra thanks everyone for the well-wishes, then tells Kick-Ass Wrestling there will be hell to pay and that there will be a steel cage match between KAW and Memphis Wrestling on Sunday at Ghost River Brewing Company on Main Street. He then says that KAW and Memphis Wrestling will both get theirs on today's episode.

The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James, Nasty Nick, Reverend Ash Taylor) beat some people up on the way to the ring for the next match.

The Slaughterhouse (Jagged James and Nasty Nick) beat Muddy Waters (Gio Savage and "The Judge" RJW) after RJW is hit with what looks like a human bone.

We hear from Sycho Simon, who says it would not end that easily and that nobody can come to his house and take what is his. He says that nobody is safe from a real, live psychopath.

Morrow beats Ruffshot Lamonte in a Face Your Fears Match with a modified choke slam after Lamonte runs out of the ring only to be thrown back into the ring.

It is announced that Jerry "The King" Lawler now has a street renamed after him in Memphis, Tennessee. (The stretch of Homer Street from the corner at Given Avenue to the corner at Rhea Avenue, near Treadwell Middle School in Memphis, has been renamed.)

We hear from "The Gift" Ray Sanders, who says that he is not facing Kick-Ass Wrestling alone and that Derrick King and PG-13 (JC Ice and Wolfie D) will be backing him up. Meanwhile, Terry Golden talks with the Kick-Ass Wrestling, mentioning their history with PG-13 and stating that today is the day they teach PG-13 a lesson before going to Ghost River Brewing Company and finish the war.

Xya, Gigi Turner and C-Rex beat Ally X, Dahlia Black and Judy Lee in a six-woman tag match. During the match, C-Rex shows up shortly after the beginning of the match, and Ally X and Dahlia Black - the woman who attacked C-Rex last week - run away, leaving Judy Lee high and dry, allowing Xya to pin Judy Lee with a schoolkid pin for the win.

We hear from The Whites (Kevin and Gavin White). Gavin wants to give The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind and Lil' Homie) the rematch to prove they are not cowards, and Kevin says they will keep doing what is right.

We see footage of PG-13 (JC Ice and Wolfie D) meeting with the fans at the WrestleCenter.

Dustin Starr interviews Justin Case at the announce desk. Justin Case says the fans, not Dustin, should be welcoming him back, then says that everyone he has managed has become champions, and that he has led wrestlers to almost every championship in Memphis Wrestling. He says that he will not reveal who he is managing today, but when he is ready to reveal who it is, Dustin Starr will be the first to know.

Big John Dalton beats "Slick" Nick Scott. During the commercial break, Dustin Starr interviews Big John Dalton at the announce desk. Big John says that Big Daddy is doing fantastic, and so is he, and says that he is stacking them up and demands that the opponents keep coming.

Wolfie D guests on commentary for the next match.

Chris Rocker beats "The Gift" Ray Sanders. During the match, the KAW outlaws show up, and Terry Golden grabs at Sanders' foot from the outside. In the commotion, Rocker hits Sanders with the ring bell hammer for the pin and the win with the assist from Golden, who shoves Sanders' foot off the ropes. After the match, JC Ice confronts Terry Gordon in the ring, and Golden beats JC Ice up while the KAW outlaws hold Derrick King and Wolfie D back. Security has to get involved as the show ends.
