Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for June 10, 2015

Drago is back, and he is seen flying down from the top of the temple.

Vampiro apologizes for his actions from last week when he saved Sexy Star from Pentagon Jr. Matt Striker commends him for doing the right thing, but Vampiro insists the show isn't about him.

Dario Cueto announces that in eight weeks, there will be an event called Ultima Lucha. This will be a yearly event with the biggest fights and the most amazing matches, and this year's main event is a match for the Lucha Underground Championship. Dario Cueto invites who he considers the greatest fighters - Hernandez, King Cuerno, Cage - all men who have faced Prince Puma - with the winner of this three-way match gaining another shot at the title. He then introduces a man from the first-ever match on the show: Blue Demon Jr., who returns to a very positive reception. Cueto gives him a shot at Ultima Lucha by putting him in a match with a man who is also returning to the temple: Chavo Guerrero, Jr., the man who put Blue Demon Jr. out of action. He is now accompanied by Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco. Despite Blue Demon Jr. still in a suit, Cueto makes the match happen right now, and declares that in this match, anything goes.

With the help of Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco, Chavo Guerrero makes quick work of Blue Demon Jr. in an Anything Goes match.

Drago is back from the underworld.

Chavo Guerrero tells Black Lotus that business is business, and that the whole of Mexico will think twice before coming after him again after turning on Dragon Azteca.

Cueto admires himself in the mirror when he sees Drago in the mirror. Drago wants a shot at Prince Puma and the Lucha Underground Championship. He has found a way to get himself unbanished: beat Hernandez in a match tonight. Cueto puts Drago in the four-way match for a shot at Prince Puma at Ultima Lucha. If Drago wins, he's unbanished and he gets Puma and a shot at the title. If he loses, he stays banished and he has to unmask upon leaving the temple a second time.

The Disciples of Death (Barrio Negro, El Siniestro de la Muerte and Trece) - the men in skeleton masks that accompanied Mil Muertes to his death match with Fenix - beat the returning Pimpinella Escarlata and Mascarita Sagrada and the debuting Bengala in six-man tag action.

Dario Cueto has a meeting with Johnny Mundo, who is furious he's not in the #1 contender's match tonight. Cueto is impressed with what he did to Alberto El Patron, and wants the more aggressive side of him unleashed on Prince Puma. He gives him a chance to prove himself next week in a match against Prince Puma that will take the entire night, with the winner becoming Lucha Underground Champion. Cueto and Mundo shake on the deal.

Drago beats Cage, King Cuerno and Hernandez after spitting the yellow mist into King Cuerno's face to get a shot at Prince Puma and the Lucha Underground Championship, save his mask and end his banishment from Lucha Underground. Prince Puma shows up, lifts up the title and stares down with Drago.

Dario Cueto, fuming at the prospect of Drago being back in the temple, is confronted by Catrina for not putting Mil Muertes in the previous match. She chokes Cueto with his own tie until Cueto puts Mil Muertes in a match against Drago in two weeks to decide a new #1 contender for the Lucha Underground title. She then tells Cueto that even Matanza is no match for Mil Muertes, then disappears.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for November 5, 2014

The show starts with the three guys who attacked Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo after last week's main event. The three men introduce themselves as Cortez Castro, Cisco and Big Ryck. (Big Ryck is former WWE Superstar Ezekiel Jackson aka Rycklon.) They're just here to beat people up, and as soon as Big Ryck says Johnny Mundo just found out who he is, Johnny Mundo rushes in and stands tall, forcing all three men to retreat briefly. Big Ryck watches from the audience as Cortez Castro and Cisco pick up steel chairs. Prince Puma also rushes in to help Johnny Mundo. Diego Cueto shows up and makes this impromptu tag team match official, and sends in a referee. Meanwhile, Big Ryck watches the show from the bleacher steps while casually smoking a cigar.

Johnny Mundo and Prince Puma beat Cortez Castro and Cisco.

Konnan tells Prince Puma that he was right about him, but tells him to stay away from Johnny Mundo, as Mundo's fight isn't his and Mundo isn't his friend. He tells Puma that he's only got one friend in this business, and he's looking right at him.

We are introduced to Mil Muertes, who debuts tonight.

Chavo Guerrero and Sexy Star beat Ivelisse (also known as Ivelisse Velez) and Son of Havoc.

An associate of Mil Muertes named Katrina shows up in the locker room and tells Blue Demon, Jr. that a thousand deaths is coming.

We get some background info on Prince Puma: he's a direct descendent of one of the fiercest Aztec warrior tribes, and that a friend of Konnan discovered his raw talent after discovering him fighting for his life in the barrio.

Mil Muertes beats Blue Demon, Jr. After the match, Mul Muertes attacks Blue Demon, Jr. some more, then Chavo Guerrero rushes in with a steel chair, forcing Mil Muertes to retreat. Just when Blue Demon, Jr. is about to stand tall with him, Chavo Guerrero attacks him with the steel chair and even punches out a few officials. Two other luchadores try to stop him, but they're levelled by the steel chair, too. Sexy Star shows up to talk sense to Chavo, but gets smacked in the head with the steel chair as well. As Blue Demon is being removed from the ring on a stretcher, Chavo stops sitting on the steel chair and laughing to try to drag him back in to no avail.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for October 29, 2014

We see a wonderful introduction to the series, which brings the tradition of lucha libre to life and sets the scene of Dario Cueto's temple as the battleground.

The series begins with an introduction to the color commentators, Matt Stryker and Vampiro. We are then introduced to the host, owner and promoter of Lucha Underground, Dario Cueto. He welcomes all comers, and the person who impresses him most tonight in the temple - his temple - which is Lucha Underground, will be awarded $100,000 in cash.

Blue Demon, Jr. beats Chavo Guerrero, Jr. by submission.

Dario Cueto talks to Konnan. He has brought who he considers the best fighter in the world, but Cueto has signed a world-famous free agent who goes by the name "Johnny Mundo" and fights only for fame and money, and will disrespect his temple. If Konnan's protege can beat Johnny Mundo, Konnan and his prodigy will be able to take the 100 grand.

We find out that Johnny Mundo is none other than former WWE Superstar John Morrison aka John Hennigan. We also meet Konnan's protege Prince Puma.

We are introduced to Sexy Star, whose life was saved by lucha libre and is here to prove that women can not just go the distance with men, but even kick ass better than men can.

Son of Havoc grabs the mic and says he's not wrestling a woman, and tells Sexy Star to throw the fight. Not surprisingly, she follows his advice and then runs back into the ring halfway through the ten count.

Son of Havoc beats Sexy Star after grabbing the tights.

Dario Cueto is disappointed with Chavo Guerrero, Jr.'s performance from earlier, and we find out Cueto is trying to put Blue Demon, Jr. into retirement. Cueto also says he has brought in a man who will finish the job, and says that "1000 deaths will come for us all."

Johnny Mundo beats Prince Puma. Both men show respect to one another after the match. Dario Cueto shows up and almost awards Mundo the $100,000. All of a sudden, two men jump Puma and Mundo, and Big Ryck (former WWE Superstar Ezekiel Jackson) joins in to deal some real pain. We then find out that these three guys work for Cueto.
