Thirty men and two Knockouts competed in a tournament for $100,000. It was made up of tag team matches in which the partners were randomly drawn in a lottery by Jeremy Borash and Christy Hemme. Teams worked together to advance to the main event Battle Royal, with the grand prize of $100,000.
The Bro Mans (Robbie E and Jessie Godderz) beat Al Snow and Mr. Anderson in a comedic opening match when Snow and Anderson's cheating backfires.
Rockstar Spud and Awesome Kong beat Samuel Shaw and DJ Z. After the match, Kong kisses Spud, who passes out, and Kong takes him to the back.
Ethan Carter III brags about winning last year's tournament, and says that he'll win this year as well.
The Wolves (Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards) beat Austin Aries and Bobby Roode.
Rockstar Spud tells Awesome Kong about his room in the local Motel 6 and tells her that if she plays her cards right, there might be a continental breakfast in her future. Kong puts her arm around Spud and smiles.
Ethan Carter III and Crazzy Steve beat Knux and Tyrus when Tyrus helps Ethan Carter III win and Knux and Crazzy Steve double-teamed Tyrus despite not being on the same team due to random draw. (This actually happened.)
Eric Young and Bram beat Magnus and Tommy Dreamer.
"The Cowboy" James Storm and Gunner beat Kenny King and Chris Melendez.
Sonjay Dutt and Gail Kim beat Tigre Uno and Manik.
Lashley and Khoya beat The Revolution (Abyss and The Great Sanada).
Lashley wins the $100,000 Battle Royal.
