Dolph Ziggler beats Cesaro. After the match, Cesaro attacks Ziggler, but is immediately confronted by Sheamus. Sheamus tosses Cesaro the U.S. title, then immediately Brogue Kicks him in the face.
If the stars won't align for Goldust and Stardust, then they'll just have to align them themselves and take the tag team titles from The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) by force!
Jimmy Uso beats Heath Slater.
Stephanie McMahon announces that Nikki Bella, AJ Lee and Paige will be in a Triple Threat match for the Divas Championship at Night of Champions.
Byron Saxton interviews Nikki Bella. She feels her sisterly turmoil is coming to an end. She refuses to apologize for anything she's done, and simply wishes her sister Brie Bella luck in her match against Paige tonight.
Rusev and Lana show up and make fun of America like they always do until Mark Henry shows up. Lana finally accepts Mark Henry's challenge from last week on Rusev's behalf, and Henry is prepared to give the red, white and blue ass-whipping himself.
AJ Lee and Nikki Bella guest on commentary for the next match.
Paige beats Brie Bella after Brie is distracted by a beatdown from AJ Lee to Nikki Bella, which Brie actually breaks up by pulling AJ off of her. When Brie gets back in the ring, Paige is able to hit the Rampaige for the win.
Bray Wyatt promises that his team will win tonight.
Bo Dallas squashes Zack Ryder. After the match, Bo Dallas is about to tell the crowd to Bolieve, mocking Jack Swagger as he does, until Swagger shows up, runs into the ring and takes the fight to him!
The ten-man tag match between the team of The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan), Kane and Seth Rollins and the team of John Cena, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Mark Henry and Big Show ends in a no-contest after the match goes out of control thanks to the Wyatts. In the end, though, Team Cena stands tall.
Wish WWE would hire Alpha Female and have Paige move to a more interesting feud with her.
ReplyDeleteThat'd be nice. Sucks that Alpha Female didn't stay in TNA for very long; she definitely showed some promise.
DeleteTell me about it, but according to Alpha, she may not be wrestling for any American-based promotions for a while. She's back in Germany after being in Japan for so long.
