Generation NXT - NXT recap for May 15, 2014

The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) beat the debuting Buddy Murphy and Elias Sampson. After this, Konnor and Viktor get the mic and want someone new to destroy. Kalisto and El Local show up and challenge them. (It is later revealed the match will happen at NXT Takeover.)

Devin Taylor interviews Sami Zayn. He plans to redeem himself after failing to take the NXT title away from Bo Dallas last year...and he wants to get one step closer to that title again.

Charlotte beats Alexa Bliss to continue to the finals of the NXT Women's Championship Tournament at NXT Takeover.

Tyler Breeze is more than confident enough to believe he'll win the Triple Threat match to become #1 contender to the NXT Championship.

Mojo Rawley beats Aiden English.

Tyson Kidd hopes to become champion...and make some noise like those who have transcended into the main roster.

Colin Cassady beats Angelo Dawkins. During the match, CJ Parker walks around in the audience carrying a sign saying "No Xtra Toxins" on one side and "This sign is recyclable" on the other.

Bo Dallas talks to JBL. The Bolievers want him to have another shot at the NXT title, but JBL will only do it if he beats his opponent next week. But if he loses...he's out of NXT! His opponent? Big E!

Tyson Kidd narrowly beats Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze to become #1 contender for the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover. Sami Zayn is disappointed that he can't break the pin in time.
