Joey Styles and "The Quintessential Studmuffin" Joel Gertner introduce everyone to tonight's show. Before Gertner can finish his nasty nickname of the week, his microphone is cut by Cyrus, who shows up. Cyrus brings greetings from TNN headquarters in "the local vernacular" only to be told by the crowd "you suck dick." Cyrus says that the TNN office was shocked at Gertner's behavior last week, and that he was horrified when he had to cut the audio on his commentary for getting himself over. Thirty minutes ago, a "double-secret" meeting with Cyrus as the chair was held, and he now has a laundry list of things from Gertner that will no longer be , such as the use of dirty middle names to get over, the use of sexual innuendo in general, and smart remarks made towards country and Western music (including The Dukes of Hazzard jokes, Dallas jokes, jokes about inbreeding and references to Garth Brooks and his weight problems), negative remarks about Rollerjam (which leads to a "Rollerjam sucks dick!" chant), and negative remarks towards Rock 'n Bowl. He says there will be abiding to the rules as there is a new sheriff in town, and his name is Cyrus.
Super Crazy beats Little Guido after avoiding a top rope splash attempt from Big Sal E. Graziano.
We see a post-match interview from Rob Van Dam after Guilty As Charged from Rob Van Dam, who says it was a great night and a brutal night, but that it was no surprise and that Sabu could learn from that. He says Sabu put his career on the line and could have been like veryone else after the match, and considers that he owes Sabu something for being a pain in his ass all these years, like letting him carry his bags, but Sabu threatened to walk out if he lost. Sabu walked out, but he walked out a winner, and that makes him still World Television Champion and "the whole fuckin' show." He also gives Bill Alfonso a special acknowledgement, as it was a rough night for him as well. Bill Alfonso is seen pressing a towel against his right eye.
It is announced that on January 28th in the War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and a member of the ECW locker room member of his choice will face Rhino and Steve Corino in a tag team match.
We hear from Da Baldies (Tony DeVito, Angel, Vic Grimes). DeVito tells New Jack that if he thought their rivalry would end when he broke his hand and spilled blood from all of them, he is mistaken, as they are not here to put him over or be his victims like Public Enemy or The Dudley Boyz. He says this is their turf, and they are here to conquer. At Guilty As Charged, there was a new king of the streets crowned without any help, and his name is Angel. Angel tells New Jack he showed him who is the toughest and baddest, and he will take on his entire family as he is the new king of the streets and the streets will always belong to Da Baldies.
We see post-match footage from Guilty As Charged where Mike Awesome tells Spike Dudley that he earned his respect, as he can take one hell of an ass beating. However, Awesome himself can give one hell of an ass beating, so if Spike wants to take the ECW World Heavyweight Championship from him, all he has to do is get to the ring so he can see how close to death he can take him.
Jerry Lynn beats Tajiri after responding to a kick to the groin with a punch to Tajiri's groin.
We see a post-match interview from The Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) from Guilty As Charged. Justin Credible says they promised and delivered, and if anyone things they've made an impact before, they they have not seen anything yet as they are the new ECW World Tag Team Champions. Storm asks how hard it is to get a title off the waist of a guy from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and tells us to "go ask Vince McMahon."
