No Mercy (UK) 1999 - The Results

The show starts with the arrival of The Corporate Ministry. WWF co-owner Shane McMahon says that what stands before the fans is the greatest assembly, the most powerful force and the most unmerciless force ever assembled in the World Wrestling Federation. Tonight, their mission of no mercy begins, as they will have no mercy for their opponents or anyone who crosses their paths. That mission begins with three individuals: The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian). Tonight, there will be no mercy on The Brood's souls as they will face The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) and Viscera. Mideon will show no mercy to Kane, as Mideon will give Kane the beating of his life. Also, for one night only, the WWF European Championship - which will be brought out of retirement for one night only and is around Shane's waist - will be defended against X-Pac, whom Shane says he can take. Shane then announces tonight's main event for the WWF Championship, where The Undertaker and "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley will face "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a Triple Threat Match for the title, and the match will be governed under no-holds-barred rules, meaning no disqualifications, no count-outs or outside interference, and anything goes. The only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Shane says that one thing is for sure: Triple H or The Undertaker will walk out the WWF Champion tonight, and that there will be no mercy for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin because Shane McMahon said so.

Before the next match, Tiger Ali Singh gets the distinct impression that nobody in the British crowd likes him and thinks that he should be driving a taxi cab due to their stereotypical, ignorant view. He says that he and his people are better than everyone in the crowd tonight, as he is richer, more powerful and looks better than everyone else. He says the only saving grace that England has is that it is populated by millions of his fellow Indian and East Asian people, for without them, England would be an uneducated, illiterate cesspool of human waste.

Tiger Ali Singh beats Gillberg.

We see footage from moments ago where "Stone Cold" Steve Austin enters the building.

The Corporate Ministry (Faarooq, Bradshaw, Viscera) beats The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian). WWF co-owner Shane McMahon and Mideon show up and watch from the apron during the match. As the match goes out of control, Mideon hits Gangrel with a DDT outside of the ring as the referee is concentrated on everyone else in the match, allowing Bradshaw to get the pinfall for the Ministry. After the match, Shane says it is one down and four to go, and that The Ministry of Darkness is in full effect and their mission has just begun.

"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman beats Droz with an arm bar.

We see a black-and-white shot of a house with a 1950s-era car in the driveway and a mailbox with the word "cleavage" on it. The shot zooms in, and we go into the house. We hear an audience clap as a man dressed like a kid from the 1950s pours Shredded Wheat into a bowl and says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. He eats the cereal, then spits it out, realizing it is dry. He asks for Mom to bring some milk, and a woman in a sleeveless dress - and well-toned arms - shows up with a tray with a pitcher of milk on it and asks "Is this what mother's little boy is looking for? Does Mother's little Harry Beaver want some of Mother's milk?" The man then looks at the camera and smiles, his eyebrows going up and down a few times. We get the sitcom audience again, then we see the shot of the house from beginning, which is now zoomed out. The vignette ends.

Mankind shows up. He says someone has told him that people play soccer in Manchester, England. The crowd cheers. If that's the case, he wants to know if the team is any good. The crowd cheers. Mankind talks about how Manchester is the hometown of Kay Parker as well as The British Bulldog, and says he had a chance to speak to him before he came to Manchester tonight. The Bulldog told him "Cactus, will you hang up the damn phone and let me get back to sleep?" Mankind admits he forgot about the time difference, but he says that if The British Bulldog did talk to him, he'd tell him to go out there and kick a little ass in Manchester. He then asks if he is allowed to say "ass" in Manchester, as he's been told in the back that he's not allowed to say "wanker." As far as his match tonight is concerned, he knows that "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn looks good and is a handsome guy, but he plants to change all that. He knows the ladies love him and that he calls himself "Bad Ass," but anybody who has seen him in the shower knows what "a real bad ass" really looks like. He then tells the crowd to sit down while he puts himself in a deep state of mental preparation, have a good time and have a nice day.

We see some footage from earlier today where the fans sound of WWF co-owner Shane McMahon as well as who will win the Triple Threat Match for the WWF Championship.

Kane beats Mideon by disqualification when The Corporate Ministry interferes. X-Pac runs into the ring with a stick and clear the ring out to defend Kane. WWF co-owner Shane McMahon says Kane was #2 on the corporate list, and tells X-Pac that he is next.

Before the next match, Sable does her usual entrance, then she stars coughing. Sable says that ever since she entered the UK this morning, she has developed a chest cold, and when she develops a chest cold, it is a big problem. She knows that everyone is disappointed because they came to see her tonight, but she is under doctor's care and she has been instructed not to wrestle in this match. She then introduces her substitute: Nicole Bass. Sable then says she will return to the United States to nurse her chest cold.

Nicole Bass quickly beats Tori with a single choke slam.

Michael Cole interviews WWF co-owner Shane McMahon, who says he has two words for X-Pac: no mercy.

Shane McMahon retains the WWF European Championship against X-Pac. During the match, X-Pac fights off Shane before his pyro hits, and Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson show up to stop Shane from running to the back. Chyna then shows up and attacks Patterson and Brisco before getting involved in the match. Patterson and Brisco are helped to the back by referees. Later on, Shane knocks out the referee after X-Pac ducks a punch while being distracted by Chyna. This allows Chyna to hit X-Pac in the head with the European title, but this does not earn Shane the win. "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley then shows up. Shane misses the Bronco Buster, X-Pac hits the X-Factor, then Triple H directs traffic and Chyna trips the referee. Chyna goes up top, but X-Pac crotches her on the top rope, knocks Triple H off the apron. X-Pac goes for a Bronco Buster on Chyna, but Chyna boots X-Pac in the crotch and Triple H hits him with the Pedigree before placing Shane on top of X-Pac to help him retain. After the match, Triple H and Shane continue to attack X-Pac, then Kane shows up. Shane, Triple H and Chyna get out of the ring. As Kane helps X-Pac to the back, Shane then says that is three down, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is the only one left, and that he will pay at the hands of The Corporate Ministry and that there will be no mercy. Triple H simply says "You're ours, Austin! You're ours!"

Michael Cole interviews Mankind. He hopes The Corporate Ministry doesn't interfere in his match, as he has no idea why the Ministry has never messed with him. Suddenly, the Ministry attacks him, and The Undertaker hits him in the knee with a chair before trying to tear at it.

Before the next match, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn says he's had a change of heart, but that's okay, as he's just that damn good. Mankind's music then hits, but Mankind does not show. Gunn then says that Mankind has run into a little misfortune, but he assures the crowd that he has had nothing to do with it. He then says that it will be referee Teddy Long's privilege to raise his hand in victory. Mankind's music then hits again, and Mankind slowly makes his way to the ring.

"Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beats Mankind with a Fameasser on a steel chair introduced into the match by Mankind. (Before this, Billy Gunn hit Mankind with a piledriver, but the bell is rung too early and the count is botched, which leads to the Fameasser.)

It is announced that The British Bulldog has experienced a lot of personal losses in his family in recent months, and that The British Bulldog is currently recovering from a severe back injury in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin retains the WWF Championship against "Triple H" Hunter Hearst Helmsley and The Undertaker in a no-holds-barred match. During the match, WWF co-owner Shane McMahon shows up with The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw), Mideon and Viscera, who all attack Austin. X-Pac, Kane, Mankind and The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) all show up to get revenge on The Corporate Ministry. With Mankind taking care of The Undertaker, this soon becomes a one-on-one match between Austin and Triple H. Triple H holds Austin down so that Chyna can do a backflip followed by a cartwheel into another attack, but Austin kicks Chyna in the gut and hits Triple H with a Stone Cold Stunner. Shane is unable to make the save, and when he sees Austin staring at him, he runs to the back only to be brought back into the rinby X-Pac. Austin goes to town on Shane and hits him with a Stone Cold Stunner. X-Pac then hits Shane, Triple H and Chyna with Bronco Busters. X-Pac, referee Earl Hebner and Austin all have a beer afterwards. Triple H helps Shane up, but they both get hit with a Stone Cold Stunner at the same time before X-Pac, Henber and Austin have another round of beers. Austin hands Triple H a beer before X-Pac hits Shane with an X-Factor. Austin and X-Pac have another beer, and Triple H - who is initially untrustworthy - drinks one with them before Triple H eats a Stunner and a Bronco Buster before Shane gets up only to eat another Stunner. X-Pac head to the backs and the show ends as Austin does the same only to run back into the ring.
