Raw Deal - Raw recap for December 2, 1996

Flash Funk beats The Goon.

We see some footage from a live event in London, England from last Wednesday.

Royal Rumble is coming January 19th!

We see footage of Tiny Tim on The King's Court from the July 19, 1993 edition of Raw as it is announced that Tiny Tim has recently passed away.

"Diesel" beats Phineas I. Godwinn after "Razor Ramon" interferes.

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels apologizes for not being defensive enough after accusations of being defensive last week. He does not mind humiliation or being whacked with a TV camera, but he does have a problem with Jose Lothario being attacked with a TV camera, and says his emotions got the best of him last week even though he is emotional inside and outside of the ring. He says the same element that cheers Sycho Sid also cheers his flamboyant, and when his name is on the card, he gives the people what they want, as he is "a man's man." He promises he will come through at Royal Rumble and become WWF Champion again, and shuts down any doubt that he is a good role model, saying that he will continue to tell the truth, speak his mind and be who he is.

Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw beats Jesse James after Uncle Zebekiah grabs Jesse James' leg. Jesse James gets branded on his arm after the match.

Sycho Sid vs. Mr. Perfect is replaced with Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Todd Pettengill in the Karate Fighters Holiday Tournament. "The King' comes out on top, and Lawler takes on Sable in the finals next Monday.

We see footage from London, England from last Wednesday where "Stone Cold" Stee Austin hits Sycho Sid with the WWF Championship from behind, which leads to The British Bulldog rushing into the ring and brawling with Austin. When Sid is disqualified, he is about to power bomb Bulldog when Bret "The Hit Man" Hart and Owen Hart show to get Bulldog out of harm's way. Sid and Bret stare down when Austin returns and knees Bret from behind, allowing Sid to choke slam Bret. Austin says he had Sycho Sid in the middle of the ring where he wanted him when the interference happens. The British Bulldog says he came back to stick it to Austin, and Owen tells him not to worry about Austin as they are tag team champions and that they need to focus on "Diesel" and "Razor Ramon" and the tag team titles. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart tells Bulldog he returned the favor, and tells Austin that he'll see him down the road. All Bret is focused on is taking the WWF Championship from Sycho Sid on December 15th. Sid says everyone is sticking their nose in his business, and that they messing with the champion, master and ruler of the world.

In Your House: It's Time comes live to pay-per-view on December 15th!

Next week on Raw: The Undertaker vs. Mankind in a no-holds-barred match!

Jesse James challenges both Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw and Uncle Zebekiah to a handicap match next week on Raw, since it takes both of them to beat him.

It is announced that Sycho Sid will take on Hunter Hearst Helmsley next week on Raw.

"Wildman" Marc Mero and Jake "The Snake" Roberts beat Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Billy Gunn after Gunn leaves Helmsley high and dry for inadvertently knocking him off the apron. Robert lays Revelations on Helmsley after the match.
