"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Jimmy Hart and The Taskmaster. Jimmy tells Taskmaster that they don't need The Four Horseman or anybody. The Taskmaster says that while falls count anywhere in the building, this isn't between The Four Horsemen and The Dungeon of Doom, it is between himself, "The Nature Boy" and "The Enforcer." He proved that Flyin' Brian was a quitter, and says that while Benoit isn't a quitter, he's no Horseman. He plans to drag Benoit through the building and make him suffer.
Konnan retains the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against El Gato.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Sting, who makes fun of "Lord" Steven Regal and tells him that American men aren't raised to be "prissy." Sting says that Regal is a fantastic wrestler, but says he's a little bit iffy and that he'll be the man to straighten him out in the course of ten, twenty or thirty minutes.
Before the next match, Diamond Dallas Page mocks the Baltimore, Maryland crowd, saying that when they get a load of him, they'll all forget about Cal Ripken.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Marcus Alexander Bagwell to retain the title of Lord of the Ring.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Jimmy Hart and The Giant. Jimmy Hart says he isn't worried about Lex Luger, and The Giant tells Luger that if he thinks he can get in the ring and put him in the Torture Rack, he is sadly mistaken. He calls the Torture Rack a fantasy for Luger, and if he wants reality and torture, the Choke Slam is all he is going to know. He then tells Luger he should have lifted a few more weights before stepping into the ring with him.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Lex Luger. Luger says he's here both physically and mentally, and simply says that The Giant has changed the face of professional wrestling forever, as a man like The Giant has never been in the sport that he takes great pride in. Luger says that The Giant thinks he's invincible...and that could be The Giant's biggest weakness.
John Tenta beats Big Bubba, and cuts his beard in revenge after the match.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Debra and Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Kevin and Tara Greene. Mongo doesn't care about a gameplan, and says he and Greene are coming for "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Kevin Greene tells Flair and Anderson they're coming and they're coming hard. "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up and says they're kicking Flair and Anderson to the end zone.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats The Taskmaster in a Falls Count Anywhere match after a top rope superplex from a table position on the top rope. Benoit continues to beat up Taskmaster after the match, and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson shows up to bush Benoit off of him...so he can kick Taskmaster in the gut. The rest of The Dungeon of Doom (Maxx, Men, The Barbarian, Big Bubba) rush in to check on The Taskmaster, and Anderson and Benoit take off, confirming that the union between The Four Horsemen and The Dungeon of Doom has come to an end.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, who brings out Chris Benoit. Anderson says that there were wannabes who wanted to be Horsemen who are out of here, and there are people whith aspirations and dreams to be a Horseman, and that Benoit earned the right to be a Horseman. He says that The Taskmaster's defeat was the head of the snake being severed, and that Taskmaster tried to poison the most elite fighting unit in the union of all professional sports. He says that Chris Benoit earned his stripes tonight, and tells The Dungeon of Doom they are ready for war and loaded for bear. Benoit tells The Taskmaster that he warned him not to mess with The Four Horsemen, but he didn't listen and now he has put him in his place. Anderson tells Kevin Green and Steve "Mongo" McMichael that if they needed a visual aid, they just got it. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair says he just saw Greene and McMichael with their wives, and wonders what they're thinking now before telling them to take a look at their team. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan says he's not terrified tonight. Flair says that the Horsemen are in town.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson beat Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Kevin Greene when Anderson and Chris Benoit attack Savage, Woman and Miss Elizabeth return with Debra McMichael (but not Tara Greene) after chasing Debra and Tara away, with Debra wearing a dress instead of sports gear on the return, handing a Four Horsemen T-Shirt and a suitcase full of money to Mongo to get him to stop the fight against Flair and Anderson. When Greene, who has just turned over the Figure Four Leg Lock, sees Mongo with the suitcase, Mongo hits Greene with the suitcase, turning on Greene to give Flair and Anderson the win before joining Benoit, Flair and Anderson in a 4-on-1 attack on "Macho Man" Randy Savage. After the attack on Savage, Mongo takes the money and puts on the Four Horsemen T-shirt, making him a member of The Four Horsemen. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan shakes the hands of both Mongo and Debra. Before the match, it is announced that "Macho Man' Randy Savage will be returning to television due to popular demands and due to Savage receiving counseling at the behest of WCW, and his first match back on television will be against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair at tomorrow night's Nitro.
Eric Bischoff is at the entrance ramp. He talks about the interruptions on Nitro from Razor Ramon and Diesel. When he says that he knows they're here and tells them to come on out, they do. Bischoff tells them they have their match at Bash At The Beach on July 7th, then asks them a few questions. When asked if they work for the WWF, Razor and Diesel both say no. Razor tells Bischoff to forget about the past and worry about the future, and wants to know who Bischoff's three guys are. He tells Bischoff to tell "Billionaire Ted" to break out the money, because at Bash At The Beach, he and Diesel are going to carve Bischoff's guys up. Bischoff tells Razor he'll find out who the three men are tomorrow night on Nitro, but Razor thinks that Bischoff is messing with him and punches him in the gut before Diesel hits him with a Jackknife Power Bomb into a nearby table. Razor then says that "the real big boys" have left the building. Bischoff then has to be placed on a stretcher. Tony Schiavone heads to the entrance ramp on Eric Bischoff, leaving commentary almost silent save for Dusty Rhodes for a few minutes.
Before the main event, Lex Luger stops to check on Eric Bischoff before heading to the ring.
Despite Sting chasing Jimmy Hart to the back to stop him from interfering, The Giant retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship after The Giant falls on Lex Luger as Luger attempts to put The Giant into the Torture Rack from the corner.
