Come As You Are (WWF Superstar) - Superstars recap for November 20, 1993

It is announced that Quebecer Pierre was knocked out by Lex Luger and is therefore out of Survivor Series.

This week, Vince McMahon announces that he will be joined by a brand new co-host this week. It is also announced that "The King" Jerry Lawler is on hiatus pending legal action, and that WWF President Jack Tunney has reinstated Shawn Michaels, who will take Lawler's place at Survivor Series. We then learn that Vince McMahon's co-host is Reo Rodgers, a satirical jab at "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. (This tandem lasts for only one week.)

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat Phil Apollo and Mike Bell.

Jim Cornette says that the name of the game for Survivor Series is elimination, and that is what The Foreign Fanatics (Yokozuna, Ludvig Borga, Quebecer Jacques, Cornette, Johnny Polo) did by eliminating Tatanka, but The All-Americans (Lex Luger, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner) responded by replacing Tatanka with The Undertaker before taking a page from their book and knocking out Quebecer Pierre with a forearm smash with the steel plate in Lex Luger's forearm. Cornette then announces that they have replaced Pierre with Crush, whom Cornette calls one of the strongest men in wrestling but also the world. Crush says that The Foreign Fanatics are men of honor who will fight and watch each other's back until the very end while The All-Americans will be wondering who will stab who in the back first. Cornette says The All-Americans will be eliminated one by one. Meanwhile, we hear from The All-Americans (Luger, The Steiner Brothers, Paul Bearer, The Undertaker). Luger admits that Crush is a big, strong man and a devastating force, but the All-Americans have Rick and Scott Steiner, and red, white and blue fever is running high for Survivor Series. Paul Bearer says The Undertaker is proud to be a part of the team, and represents all the Americans who have gone before them. The Undertaker says there is pride, honor and total domination in the team. The addition of Crush means he only has to dig a bigger grave.

Bam Bam Bigelow beats Scott Taylor. After the match, Doink appears on the video screen and makes fun of Bam Bam's Survivor Series team, then introduces his partners as four Doinks slowly fill up the video screen.

Razor Ramon is on the cover of the newest issue of WWF Magazine - available now - and inside is an article on Doink.

Jim Ross advertises a show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, November 27th with four main events. The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) will take on The Headshrinkers (Samu and Fatu), Razor Ramon will defend the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Diesel, The Quebecers (Jacques and Pierre) will defend the WWF Tag Team Championships against The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), and The Undertaker takes on Yokozuna in a Casket Match. (Doink vs. "The King" Jerry Lawler has been removed due to Lawler's legal issues.) Jim Ross then interviews Diesel and Razor for Face To Face. Razor says the WWF has done it again with the supercard coming to Madison Square Garden, and says Diesel has been lurking in the shadows as a bodyguard, but now the spotlight is on him. If Diesel wants the gold, all he has to do is come and get it. Diesel says you can call him a thug or a bodyguard, but you can call him clairvoyant, as he will be winning the Intercontinental title. Razor says he doesn't like Diesel, but Diesel is a lot like him in that he will do anything to get the gold, as he has already proved that he will.
Jim Cornette is seen advertising Acclaim's Dual Turbo wireless controllers - currently available at K-Mart - for the Sega Genesis while playing Royal Rumble. You can also register for a trip to see Royal Rumble live at K-Mart.

"The Rocket" Owen Hart beats "Iron" Mike Sharpe.

We hear from "Double J" Jeff Jarrett, who is in a recording studio, unhappy with the guy playing on guitar. He leaves the booth and kicks the guy playing guitar out as he says he will have to do everything himself, including getting to the top of the World Wrestling Federation, which will be renamed "the Double J-F" when he is done.

Todd Pettengill gives us a brief crash course on how to order Survivor Series on pay-per-view.

Well Dunn (Timothy Well and Steven Dunn) beat Dennis Diamond and P.J. Walker.

On the Survivor Series Report, Crush officially replaces Quebecer Pierre in The Foreign Fanatics (Yokozuna, Crush, Ludvig Borga, Quebecer Jacques, Cornette, Johnny Polo).

Before the next match, Irwin R. Schyster says that for a town in the middle of nowhere, it sure has a lot of tax cheats.

Bret "Hit Man" Hart beats Irwin R. Schyster by disqualification. During the match, Mr. Fuji shows up and watches the match from ringside. Later on, Mr. Fuji trips Bret by the ankle from ringside while referee Earl Hebner is not looking, and Bret quickly gets back at him by hitting Mr. Fuji with a right hand as soon as he is able to slide out of the ring. After this, Jim Cornette and Yokozuna show up, and Mr. Fuji whacks Bret in the back with the pole of his Japanese flag. Hebner sees this and calls for the bell, ending the match. After the match, Irwin R. Schyster continues to attack Bret, but "The Rocket' Owen Hart shows up and fights Irwin R. Schyster while Bret Hart drop kicks Yokozuna off the apron. Referees have to keep Bret from going after Yokozuna, and officials have to keep Yokozuna from getting in the ring.

Jim Ross re-advertises the show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, November 27th. He then interviews The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner) and Quebecer Jacques (accompanied by Johnny Polo) for Face To Face. Johnny Polo says that it is a rip-off and a conspiracy against him and Jacques now that Quebecer Pierre has been knocked out of action. Scott Steiner says The Foreign Fanatics (Yokozuna, Ludvig Borga, Quebecer Jacques, Cornette, Johnny Polo) made a mistake thinking that if they hurt The All-Americans (Lex Luger, Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, The Undertaker, Paul Bearer), they wouldn't hurt them back, and now Pierre is out. He tells Polo to get his trunks on. Rick says the Fanatics stuck their hand in the dog dish only to have it bitten off, and Madison Square Garden will see a human sacrifice in the form of Johnny Polo. Jacques says he will protect Johnny Polo, and says the 13th of September will happen again.

Tis Sunday: Bret "Hit Man" Hart vs. Yokozuna for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series Showdown!
