Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews AJ Styles, who says that it does not matter how many people he has to go through in the Tuwaiq Gauntlet Match, as he is the only "Phenomenal One". He says that he must win to celebrate greatness with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. He also states that he will deal with Aleister Black next week on Raw.

We hear from Paul Heyman, who says that Ricochet stands the slimmest of chances against Brock Lesnar but will not win, as Lesnar does not play into fan fantasies and is reality and "the straight shot against a hopeless Ricochet."

We hear from The Miz and John Morrison. Morrison says he cannot think of a better way to start a comeback than winning tag team gold, and Miz says this is "a rebirth of tag team wrestling."

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Naomi, who says it is an honor to be part of a historic match in Saudi Arabia and that it will be an honor when she becomes a three-time champion, as "all that glow defeats all that glare, anytime and anywhere."

We hear from Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Angelo Dawkins says Murphy and Seth Rollins aren't burning it down tonight, and Montez Ford says it is because the Profits are up and they want the smoke.

The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) beat The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) in the pre-show.

The Undertaker beats Bobby Lashley, Andrade (who has, in reality, returned from a 30-day Wellness Policy suspension), Erick Rowan, R-Truth and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. During the match, Lashley attacks R-Truth after being surprisingly eliminated. Andrade is eliminated after R-Truth inadvertently headbutts him from behind and falls on top of him. Erick Rowan is eliminated via disqualification when he hits R-Truth with the steel steps after sending Truth into the steps, knocking over his cage in the process. Rowan hits Truth with the Iron Claw before leaving. R-Truth is eliminated after submitting to the Calf Crusher. Rey Mysterio - who has replaced Rusev in the match as of Monday - is attacked backstage by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Styles says that Rey won't be getting up after the backstage attack on him, announces that he has won the Gauntlet Match, and demands the referee raise his hand. When he refuses, Styles demands the bell be ring and that he be handed the trophy. Ring announcer Mike Rome then announces that if Rey does not make it to the ring by the count of ten, Styles will be declared the winner. Suddenly, Gallows is seen down on the floor, followed by Anderson, then black boots and the bottom of a black coat are then seen. Rey Mysterio is replaced by The Undertaker, who beats an incensed Styles with one choke slam.

Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) say it is about time to do what they do, then question the lyrics of The Miz's theme, saying this is no game and that this is the time to show who the better tag team is.

The Miz and John Morrison beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships after Morrison hits Kofi with a chair to the chest after Miz kicks out of a schoolkid pin. Miz then pins Kofi with a schoolkid pin of his own to take the titles for him and Morrison.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Seth Rollins and Murphy. Rollins says he has a lot of respect for Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) as athletes, but their moral compasses are "off-kilter" as they stand in the way of progress and his vision for Raw and must be dealt with. He says he does not need a plan, for it is destiny that he and Murphy will still walk out as Raw Tag Team Champions and that the threat of Street Profits will be eradicated along the way.

Angel Garza beats Humberto Carrillo during a series of pinfalls.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Bayley, who says that she will make history tonight like she did her entire career, but also beat Naomi and prove to the world again that she is the most dominant women's champion SmackDown has ever seen.

Seth Rollins and Murphy retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) after Rollins hits The Stomp on Angelo Dawkins into the ring apron.

Mansoor beaats Dolph Ziggler. After the match, Byron Saxton hands the microphone over to Mansoor, who thanks the fans, as their voices carried him tonight, for when he had nothing left, they picked him up and gave him hope. When he stepped into the ring last year, they proved Saudi Arabia was ready for its first WWE Superstar, and tonight, they showed WWE they are here to stay.

Brock Lesnar retains the WWE Championship against Ricochet following three German Suplexes and an F-5.

Roman Reigns beats King Corbin in a steel cage match following a Superman Punch with a chain.

In the first WWE women's championship match to ever take place in Saudi Arabia, Bayley retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Naomi after wrapping Naomi's feet in the back of her own shirt before planting Naomi face-first into the mat.

Goldberg beats "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt with four Spears and a Jackhammer to become WWE Universal Champion for a second time. After the match, The Fiend is back on his feet, but when the lights go out, The Fiend is nowhere to be seen when they come back on.

In footage from earlier this week, Paul Heyman says Brock Lesnar chose not to cash in until now because he refuses to let Seth Rollins get away with multiple blows, and exacted vengeance because he can. He says that Rollins has paid the price and that he will pay again with the Universal Championship after Lesnar cashes in on him tonight.

We hear from Ricochet and Robert Roode. Both men have plans of winning tonight's 50-man battle royal.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Seth Rollins, whose abdomen is taped up. Rollins says he is not in the best of shape, but he is still here to be a fighting champion and he will stomp Baron Corbin's head into the mat. If Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman stick to their word tonight and Lesnar cashes in, he is ready for "The Beast."

We hear from Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis) and Rusev. They also want to win tonight's 50-man battle royal.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) with a double superkick to Wilder.

Seth Rollins retains the WWE Universal Championship against Baron Corbin with a schoolkid pin after Corbin yells at referee John Cone for taking a steel chair out of his hands. After the match, Corbin hits Rollins with End Of Days, then Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar and a referee show up and Rollins lays in the middle of the ring. Heyman trips on the way into the ring and drops the Money In The Bank briefcase, however, and this distracts Lesnar long enough to allow Rollins to hit Lesnar with a low blow. With the cash-in yet to occur, Rollins takes the steel chair and smashes it into Lesnar's back as Lesnar cradles the Money In The Bank briefcase. Heyman cries for mercy as Seth hits Lesnar with The Stomp right on the Money In The Bank briefcase.

After the brief commercial break, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar head to the back.

Finn Balor retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship with a top rope DDT followed by the Coup De Grace.

We hear from The Miz and Jinder Mahal, both of whom want to win tonight's 50-man battle royal. Jinder laments losing the WWE 24/7 Championship, and says that he will win the title back from R-Truth on the plane flight back home.

Shane McMahon beats Roman Reigns after Drew McIntyre hits Roman with a Claymore outside of referee Charles Robinson's field of vision while Robinson is checking on Shane, who inadvertently hits Robinson in the eye in the process.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Kingston says his match is tonight is about more than the WWE Championship. Woods says Kofi is more than just a champion; he is a hero. Kofi says that while Dolph Ziggler is fighting with newfound intensity, he is fighting with purpose and he knows what to do to stay on top. Tonight, he gives Ziggler another moment to obsess over: the one where he didn't get the job done.

Lars Sullivan beats The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik) by disqualification in a 3-on-1 handicap match after The Lucha House Party tie Sullivan's legs up and gang up on him. After the match, Sullivan stalks The Lucha House Party and takes them out one by one on the ramp.

Randy Orton beats Triple H after countering an attempted facebreaker kneesmash into an RKO.

It is revealed that during a stopover in Hanover, Germany en route to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Jinder Mahal pinned R-Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship a second time. On the six-hour leg from Hanover to Jeddah, R-Truth pins a sleeping Jinder to win the WWE 24/7 Championship for a fifth time. Unfortunately for him, he wakes everyone up and has to hide in a bathroom.

Backstage, Baron Corbin interrupts an interview by Byron Saxton and says that referee John Cone cost him the biggest match of his career and the Universal Championship and that heads are going to roll.

Before the next match, Bobby Lashley poses on a platform on the stage before entering the ring. When Braun Strowman shows up, he picks up the platform and tosses it off the stage.

We hear from Ali and Samoa Joe, who both want to win tonight's 50-man battle royal.

Kofi Kingston retains the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler following an enziguri from the apron from Xavier Woods to Ziggler. Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Dolph Ziggler, who says that he thought Kofi earned it the right way, but now everyone can see that Kofi is a coward. He says he outperformed Kofi, that he was the better man and that it should be him. Ziggler demands a rematch with Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship in a steel cage match with nobody at ringside.

We see footage of the fans' excitement for Super Showdown.

Before the next match, Elias mocks everyone else in the 50-man battle royal through song, saying nobody will eliminate him because they do not have his talent. The Miz leaves through the middle rope, hits Elias, sends him into the ring, and the battle royal begins.

Hometown NXT Superstar Mansoor wins the 50-man battle royal, last eliminating Elias. After the match, Byron Saxton interviews Mansoor. He says he does not have words to describe how important this moment is to himself or to the fans here. He stood in the ring as a prospect with no idea where he would end up, and all he had was a dream to become a WWE Superstar and represent Saudi Arabia all over the world. As the crowd chants "You deserve this," Mansoor says that he won the greatest battle royal in WWE history and his dream came true.

The Undertaker beats a busted-open Goldberg after Goldberg goes for a Tombstone Piledriver and falls down and nearly accidentally hurts The Undertaker in the process. During the match, Goldberg busts his head open after hitting his head from running into the ring post, and Goldberg's head hits the mat when The Undertaker hits him with the Tombstone Piledriver for the win. Goldberg also accidentally knocks himself out during the match. After the match, The Undertaker has an unimpressed look on his face, and Goldberg has to be helped to the back after he is unable to leave the ring under his own power. It is later reported that Goldberg suffered a concussion during the match.
