(Had The Dark Order and Adam Page won, Page would have earned an AEW World Championship title shot and The Dark Order would have earned an AEW World Tag Team Championships shot.)

He says that he can forgive Cage for some of the trouble he caused, but says he cannot forgive Cage for failing to check on him when he broke his neck, and says Cage is selfish, inconsiderate and not knowing what the meaning of teamwork is. He also says he knows what being a superstar means, something that he says Cage has never been able to do in seventeen years. As Starks continues to speak, Cage heads to the ring and lays out some band members. When Cage breaks a trombone in front of Starks, Starks throws his orange roses at Cage and runs away.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, who is soon attacked by Malakai Black. As members of the locker room and people from backstage check on Cody, Malakai Black knocks out Fuego del Sol.

In footage from earlier today, Miro says that ever since he won the TNT Championship, challenges have dried up. But next week, he will fight, and while Lee Johnson is talented, he will not take the title from him. He says that Johnson can either run away or face him like a champ, but either way, a reckoning will come to Johnson.

Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) and Christian Cage beat The Hardy Family Office (Marq Quen, Isiah Kassidy, Angelico). Before the match, it is announced that QT Marshall will be waiting until next week to apologize to Tony Schiavone to ensure that Marshall's family is in attendance when the apology happens. During the match, Matt Hardy gets involved, but Christian and Marko Stunt chase him to the back, and Christian does not return until the finish. After the match, Christian is attacked from out of nowhere by The Blade, and Matt Hardy return to congratulate The Blade afterwards.

We see a video package for Nick Gage, who asks Chris Jericho what he will do to him tonight that hasn't been done to him. He says that he will leave Jericho cut up and in pain, unable to take on Labor #3.

Thunder Rosa beats Julia Hart.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who drinks out of a flask as he wonders why his challenges are going unanswered, and says that once he doesn't have the IWGP United States title, Hiroshi Tanahashi wants to show his face. He tells Tanahashi that he is dead to him, then says he has sent more challenges from Japan and is waiting to see who comes from "The Forbidden Door." He says that while the door is open, nothing good waits for anyone on the other side.

MJF guests on commentary for the next match.

He says that while the overall demographic is important, he says that the 18-34 demographic is what matters, and he has never been beaten in that demographics. Jericho claims to be the king of the ratings and "the demo god," then goes back to talking about how great his match with Orange Cassidy was and how people saw something in Orange Cassidy they had not seen before. Jericho then says that Orange Cassidy, the network, the advertisers, the important demographic and the fans want a rematch, then asks the fans if they want a rematch before telling them they are not getting one because Orange Cassidy had his chance and was not good enough. When the fans chant "You scared," Jericho says he is never scared, and says there will never be a rematch between himself and Orange Cassidy before telling Orange Cassidy to enjoy being in the ring with him before going back to his friends and remember what it was like to be a main eventer. After an orange juice toast to Orange Cassidy, they pour some juice on the mat of the ring to toast Orange Cassidy's "dead career." Orange Cassidy shows up in an empty part of the stands, and Jericho says that while Cassidy could really go, he does not what have what it takes to be in the ring with him and tells him there will never be a rematch. He also says that while tonight's dream tag team match is happening, he finds it even more unbelievable that the money for it is going to a good cause. As for The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), they have no expectation as to what they will do to them in the match, and while they are new-school, he and Dustin Rhodes are old-school. Dustin says that with no old-school, there is no new-school, and that The Young Bucks' souls will be ripped from their bodies after what they are going to do to them. Cody says he could go on about Shawn Spears at this point, he is looking forward to him and Dustin winning tonight, as the brotherhood is better than the Bucks.

After mocking Jacksonville, Florida's town name, he tells "the white trash riviera" in the crowd to go ahead and boo him, as a "thank you" means nothing from them and that he plans to beat up every single person involved in AEW, starting with Page. He states that nobody would be here if it were not for him, for all of AEW's success is because of him. Jericho admits that Page is one of the best wrestling talents he has seen in years, and says that he has to beat Page in order to become AEW World Champion, prove that AEW would not exist if it were not for him and prove that Page is "a little bitch."
