Final Resolution 2013 - The Recap

Magnus tells somebody backstage that if he sees Jeff Hardy or Dixie Carter, to tell them that he has a message that will get everyone's attention.

Magnus shows up with a message that will get everyone's attention: he knows Hardy was filmed having drinks with Dixie Carter, and says Hardy owes everyone an explanation. Hardy shows up and is shocked Magnus would question his intentions. Magnus tells him he remembers October 10, 2010, when Hardy sold out to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hardy says he's not selling out. We'll see.

Kurt Angle tells Christy Hemme he plans to prove he still has it against Bobby Roode.

Bobby Roode hits Kurt Angle with a low blow and uses the ropes to beat Kurt Angle in a 2-1 victory in a two-out-of-three falls match.

Jeremy Borash finds out Gunner and James Storm are still angry at each other over last week's Feast or Fired match.

Kurt Angle is disappointed that Bobby Roode outsmarted him tonight.

Jeremy Borash interviews Ethan Carter III, who feels he knows he won't be fired. But when he gets a call back from Dixie Carter, Dixie tells him if he is fired, even she can't do anything about it.

Eric Young and his "experiments" to prove Joseph Park is Abyss continue!

Eric Young brings out Joseph Park. Park finds out that Eric put him in a match against Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) next week...and it's a Monster's Ball match! Eric Young shows him some "visual aids" to try to get him to believe that he is Abyss: a steel chair, a bag of thumbtacks, barbed wire...and "Janice," the 4x4 with nails stuck on it! Park, initally reluctant to partake in the match, agrees upon seeing Janice.

It's Feast or Fired time! Zema Ion gets an X Division title shot, while Gunner gets a World Heavyweight title shot to James Storm's chagrin. Sting shows up before the other two briefcases are open, and tells Ethan Carter III he'll take his fate if he lets him fight him just once, but Ethan takes the briefcase over him. The gamble pays off: Ethan Carter III gets a tag team title shot while Chavo Guerrero gets the pink slip. Sting tells Guerrero that it's not the end...it's a new beginning. He then tells Dixie Carter and EC3 that it's the beginning of the end for them.

Magnus still has more questions than answers about Jef Hardy...but he plans to win the TNA World title.

Madison Rayne and ODB beat Gail Kim and Lei'D Tapa.

Jeff Hardy runs into Sting, who tells him to stay true to himself.

Dixie Carter tells Rockstar Spud to find someone who can make a new TNA World title belt in time for Final Resolution...

Jeff Hardy shows up and says his "bad memories" from 2010-11 will not be repeated. He will not let Dixie Carter own him, and tells Carter to take her money and shove it. Dixie shows up and patronizes Hardy, saying everything he and his family has, he owes to her. She also threatens to put him out of a job while comparing him to AJ Styles, before saying she'll watch the match from ringside.

Thanks to interference by Ethan Carter III (trying to pull Magnus down from the cage) and Rockstar Spud (who pushes the ladder down while Jeff Hardy is on it), Magnus beats Jeff Hardy in a Dixieland match to become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion!
