Kevin Kelly interviews Savio Vega. Vega tells Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw - who was challenged to a match by Vega after the Free For All match, therefore granting his wish - if he wants to be in a pay-per-view match, he's got one, and it's a Caribbean Strap Match. Vega promises to whip Bradshaw's butt just before he comes to the ring. It doesn't take long for the fans to chant "ECW," and Vega is distracted and attacked by The Sandman, who is accompanied in the front row by Tommy Dreamer. Sandman and Dreamer, both from Extreme Championship Wrestling, are escorted out of the event by security and WWF officials.

As Jim Cornette head to the ring, Savio Vega is attacked backstage by two men who look like Diesel and Razor Ramon. Jim Cornette tells the crowd they get to see a real man in the ring for once, then calls Jose Lothario an old, broken down cripple and tells him he won't hurt him if be backs out while threatening to beat his brains out if he shows up.
Jose Lothario beats Jim Cornette.
Marc Mero, Sable, Sunny and Faarooq Asaad are on the WWF Superstar Line.
Brian Pillman shows up. Pillman says he's an honest man, then calls Philadelphia a hotbed of drug abuse, battered women and welfare recipients, telling people to look at everyone in the town if they want proof. He then brings out Owen Hart, who is no longer wearing the cast ever since it had been stomped on by "Wildman" Marc Mero last week. Pillman says that there is bad blood between Owen and Bret "The Hit Man" Hart, and thought everything was great between Owen and Bret. Owen says Bret is not the wrestler he once was and has called him the better Hart, and calls Bret's accusations of him and Brian lying uncalled for. Owen says that Bret is not here despite being scheduled to do so, and that is because Bret is scared of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who shows up. Austin says the whole world knew Bret wouldn't show up, and so did he, and that when Austin is in the house, Bret is at his house because he's scared of him. He says that Hart headed back home as soon as he showed up in WWF. He says he and Owen are a lot alike, except Owen cared what the fans thought about him and he doesn't. He tells Bret that if he comes back, they're going to get in the ring and Bret will get his ass whipped. Brian Pillman then tells the city of Philadelphia that it sucks.
We see footage of Mark Henry from earlier today out and about in the city of Philadelphia.
Dok Hendrix is in the first aid room with Jim Cornette and Clarence Mason. Cornette is in no condition to manage, and signs a legal document allowing Clarence Mason the privilege of managing Owen Hart and The British Bulldog. Also, Billy Gunn slowly walks to the ring with Sunny while on the way to the next match. When the giant poster of Sunny comes down, however, a wig, glasses and mustaches are drawn on her face, while the words "To Bulldog & Owen, All My Love, Sunny" are on the lower-right corner in white. Sunny is distraught. Clarence Mason shows up to manage Owen Hart and The British Bulldog soon afterward.
Owen Hart and The British Bulldog beat The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) to become the WWF Tag Team Champions after Sunny distracts Billy Gunn, causing Billy to go off on Bart and push him back into The British Bulldog when he whips Bart into the corner. After the match, Sunny becomes absolutely livid and calls them no-good cowboy wanna-bes before firing them for losing the tag team titles.
Kevin Kelly interviews Mankind and Paul Bearer in the boiler room of the arena. Paul Bearer declares that Mankind will become the next WWF Championship, and blames the Undertaker's fans for him betraying Undertaker. Mankind has misery and destiny in store for "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, as he plans to make Shawn miserable and The Kliq suffer the pain he has suffered throughout his life. He says it is his destiny to destroy Shawn Michaels and take the WWF Championship from him.
Before the next match, Jerry "The King" Lawler tells the crowd he will give "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry the wrestling lesson of his life.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry beats Jerry "The King" Lawler with a backbreaker rack in his WWF in-ring debut. After the match, Mark Henry is attacked from behind by Leif Cassidy, but Mark Henry quickly overpowers him. Marty Jannetty rushes into the ring, too, but he fares no better. Hunter Hearst Helmsley shows up and gets a few shots in, but Mark Henry overpowers him, too, throwing him outside of the ring and into Cassidy and Jannetty.
In Your House: Buried Alive takes place on pay-per-view on October 20th, and already scheduled is an unsanctioned match between The Undertaker and Mankind where the loser is buried alive. The match is immediately called a Buried Alive Match.
The Undertaker beats Goldust in a Final Curtain Match.
Kevin Kelly interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. Shawn says that this is the first time he's been nervous defending the WWF Championship, as Mankind is "the wackiest cat the World Wrestling Federation has ever seen." Nevertheless, he's going to find a way to get the job done like he always does. As for whether or not Paul Bearer and Mankind have some sort of plot in mind, he has no idea how best to deal with them and will have to think on the job.
Mankind comes to the main event in the casket that was seen this weekend on Superstars.
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels beats Mankind by disqualification and retains the WWF Championship after Vader interferes to attack Shawn. Sycho Sid drags Vader out of the ring and fights him, but Paul Bearer revives Mankind with the urn and Mankind applies the Mandible Claw to Shawn. Paul Bearer opens up the casket at Mankind's command, but when he does, The Undertaker is revealed to be inside, and he climbs out of the casket and tosses Manking out of the ring, chasing Mankind and Paul Bearer to the back.
