"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Macho Man" Randy Savage at the entrance ramp. Whether he holds the WCW World Heavyweight Championship for a day or forever and a day, Savage says he's on top of the mountain, and he's ready to take on any and all comers. Hulk Hogan shows up, and we see the footage of the ending of the World War 3 match. Before we can see the whole footage, a malfunction occurs, and we don't see the entire clip. Suddenly, Hulk Hogan and The Macho Man are attacked from behind by The Giant. Sting shows up to confront The Giant, and The Giant is distracted long enough for Hogan to hit The Giant in the back with a steel chair several times. The referee tries to grab the steel chair, but Hulk elbows the ref and continues to attack The Giant with the chair. As The Giant retreats, Sting and Hogan check on Savage, who has been down the whole time.
Lex Luger and Sting beat Arn Anderson and Flyin' Brian. During the match, Lex Luger pushes Flyin' Brian into Sting as he has Arn Anderson in the Scorpion Death Lock, then tries to play it off as an accident. Right at the end of the match, Ric Flair shows up, and three Horsemen attack the ref, Sting and Lex Luger before Flair puts Sting in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Hulk Hogan shows up and fights off Flyin' Brian and Arn Anderson before confronting The Nature Boy. Brian and Anderson have to help Flair out of the ring. Hogan goes after Luger, but Sting stop him. Sting and Hogan talk it out before shaking hands.
There will be an update on "Macho Man" Randy Savage's condition on WCW Saturday Night, as well as a special announcement concerning Starrcade.
