Clash at the Castle 2024 - The LIVE Results



Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri). Gable says he has the family in line and that they will stick to the plan and help him win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. When Maxxine Dupri is asked about her injury, Gable insists that she is fine. When he notices Akira Tozawa is missing, Gable says that Tozawa will pay on Monday.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bayley. Bayley says she respects Piper Niven has done and what their match means to her, but at the same time, she attacked her and Naomi and she will not let that slide. Bayley says she cares about the fans and that she will beat Piper in her home country.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the Undisputed WWE Championship against "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles in an "I Quit" Match after handcuffing Styles to the middle rope and threatening to hit him with the ring steps in the corner. Styles quits, but after locking eyes with his mother Michelle, whom Styles mouthed off at twice during the match, Cody hits Styles with the ring steps anyway and busts him open. After the match, Solo Sikoa shows up next to Cody, and when they confront each other, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa sneak up on Cody from the entrance and attack him only for Kevin Owens and Randy Orton to run in and assist Cody. Cody, Owens and Orton quickly get the upper hand and stand tall.



The Unholy Union (Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre) beat the team of Zoey Stark and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and the team of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships after Isla Dawn suplexes Jade Cargill and takes advantage of a double-team maneuver by Jade and Bianca on Shayna to pin Shayna and become champions.







Before the next match, a QR code is shown followed by the message "The Massacre Is Coming."

Sami Zayn retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable after Otis refuses to help Gable out after Gable inadvertently hits Maxxine in the injured leg with a chop block after Sami rolls out of an ankle lock on the outside.



Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. Alba says tonight means so much and that they did what they set out to do, and Isla says that Jade Cargill and Bianca Bianca had no chance of beating them in their own home country and that they will be keeping the women's tag titles for a while.

Bayley retains the WWE Women's Championship against Piper Niven. During the match, Chelsea Green gets ejected after claiming that Bayley hurt her hand, then tries to come back in a purple Rey Mysterio mask only for the referee to know who she is.



Tom "The Albatross" Stoltman is seen in the crowd.

The Inveraray and District Pipe Band play "Scotland the Brave" down the ramp and around the ring before Drew McIntyre arrives for the next match.



Damian Priest retains the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. During the match, the referee is knocked off the ring apron and into the barricade as he is trying to get back into the ring after McIntyre shoves Priest into him. McIntyre is able to hit the Claymore Kick afterwards, then another referee slides into the ring only to screw McIntyre out of the win and reveal himself to be CM Punk. When McIntyre confronts Punk and shoves him into the corner, Punk kicks McIntyre in the groin, and the referee comes to just in time to make the count after Damian Priest hits South of Heaven to retain.

Clash at the Castle - The LIVE Results



Liv Morgan is seen backstage with UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards backstage.



Madcap Moss and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) beat Austin Theory and Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) on the kick-off.



Roman Reigns is seen entering the arena before the end of the kick-off.



Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky beat Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka in a six-woman tag match. (When Bayley, Dakota and Iyo make their way to the ring, they have a new theme and seem to go by the name "Damage Control.")



In footage from earlier today, Drew McIntyre is met by Tyson Fury, who is in the front row of tonight's show as promised.

We look back at SummerSlam 1992 - the last major WWE event to take place in the UK - and the main event of The British Bulldog vs. Bret Hart for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The family of The British Bulldog and Bret Hart are at tonight's event.

Before the next match, Gunther shows up in all black with a reformed Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, Giovanni Vinci). Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser brawl with Ridge Holland Butch as Sheamus and Gunther have a staredown in the middle of the ring.



Gunther retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus. After the match, Sheamus receives a standing ovation.

UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards is seen in the front row.

Liv Morgan retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler after escaping the Kirifufa Clutch and a subsequent arm bar.

Miss Linda and "Exotic" Adrian Street are seen in the front row.

Rey Mysterio and Edge The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) after Dominik Mysterio stops Finn from hitting Edge with the Coup de Grace by distracting the ref so that Rey Mysterio can hit Finn Balor with a hurricanrana off the top rope. When Rey goes for a 619 on Finn Balor later in the match, Finn avoids it, but Dominik grabs his foot from the outside, which provides Rey and Edge the distraction they need to hit Finn with a 619 and a Spear to win. After the match, Dominik Mysterio kicks Edge in the groin, and when Rey tries to reason with him, Dominik lays him out with a clothesline, much to the joy of The Judgment Da *y, who point and laugh at Rey and Edge. Dominik rips up his Mysterios tanktop on the way to the back. Rey and Edge hug after the match.





62,296 people have packed Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales for Clash at the Castle.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins beats Matt Riddle after using Riddle's emotions against him by bringing up his family in the ring. Riddle responds with a flurry of offense, but Rollins hits Riddle with The Stomp after avoiding a chair shot before hitting Riddle with The Stomp again from the middle rope.

In footage from earlier today, Roman Reigns is seen talking with Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury is seen in the front row, and Karrion Kross and Scarlett are also seen in the crowd.

Before the next match, Drew McIntyre's pre-WWE release theme, "Broken Dreams," plays with a more current and autobiographical video package.

Roman Reigns retains the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre. During the match, Roman Reigns argues with referee Charles Robinson and grabs him by the shirt. As he does, McIntyre hits Roman with a Claymore Kick and inadvertently knocks Charles Robinson out of the ring in the process. Shortly after this, Austin Theory shows up with a referee. As Austin Theory tries to cash in, however, he gets knocked out by Tyson Fury from the front row. Roman tries to hit McIntyre with a chair, but McIntyre hits a Claymore Kick for the near-fall. The match ends when McIntyre hits a Spear and a Claymore Kick only for the referee to get dragged out by none other than Solo Sikoa, who is the younger brother of Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. After Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns leave, Tyson Fury helps Drew McIntyre up and raises his hand. Tyson takes the microphone and says everyone came to see him, and while he came up short, he did the fans proud. He says that everyone was chanting for McIntyre and that it must have been an awesome feeling, then says that in times like this, he can only think of one thing. Tyson Fury then sings "American Pie" by Don McLean. McIntyre says that the fans in Cardiff, Wales showed the world what they are made of, then says the both of them never give up. He says that he will get both titles eventually, then leads the crowd into song again to end the show.
