Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for May 21, 2015

Roman Reigns shows up to start the show. He says he didn't win at Payback, but admits he had one hell of a time. As much as he is for punching out Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble, he has a new game plan: he intends to enter the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and take the briefcase. Suddenly, Dean Ambrose shows up. Roman Reigns is talking to Ambrose about thinking of an exit strategy when it comes to the WWE Championship and beating Seth Rollins when Kane shows up. Kane says The Authority always wins in the end, but Roman tells him he's usually on his back. Kane says Roman isn't in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and goes over his recent string of pay-per-view losses. Ambrose takes some potshots at Kane's family and role in The Authority, and Kane responds by putting Ambrose in a rematch with Bray Wyatt, which Ambrose is okay with as he has unfinished business with Bray after Monday night. As for Reigns, Kane gives him the night off to "reflect," but Reigns says he's going to watch the show and make sure Kane does what's best for business.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) guest on commentary for the next match.

The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego), The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) and Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in a Four Corners Tag Team Match.

Rusev says that Lana turned her back on him, and that he will "tear Dolph Ziggler's arm off and eat his American heart."

Renee Young interviews Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler admits it's been one wild week with being put in the Elimination Chamber match for the Intercontinental title and Lana kissing him, as well as Rusev going after him after said kiss. When Lana shows up and tells Ziggler he'll be watching him in his match against King Barrett tonight, Ziggler tells Lana that he knows she's playing a game with him, but he's okay with it.

Dolph Ziggler beats King Barrett. After the match, Lana shows up and claps from the top of the entrance ramp.

Paige shows up. Last time she was in the ring, it was last month in the UK. She makes it plain to Naomi and Tamina that it's on between her and them. Naomi and Tamina show up, and after some harsh words on both sides, a 2-on-1 brawl takes place before Nikki Bella shows up and cleans house.

Bray Wyatt plans to go 2-0 against Dean Ambrose tonight.

R-Truth gets a rather creative win against Stardust.

Renee Young interviews Ryback, who is more than up to the challenge that is the Elimination Chamber. At one point, Renee says she plans to go vegan, and Ryback tells her he knows some high-protein vegan recipes. Renee's face asks the question "Do I want them?"

We see some more Tough Enough videos.

The cast of Entourage will be on Raw next week.

The Meta Powers (Curtis Axel and Macho Mandow) beat Heath Slater and Adam Rose.

Renee Young interviews Bo Dallas. He attacked Neville in order to "make him stronger" and "help him overcome adversity" and that all Neville has to do is Bolieve.

Dean Ambrose beats Bray Wyatt after Roman Reigns fends off Seth Rollins and J&J Security (Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble) and gets a Superman Punch on Bray Wyatt behind the referee's back.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!
