Let's Go! - LFG recap for August 23, 2026 (Episode Two)

Tristan Angels and Myka Lockwood take part in a photoshoot, then Tristan asks Myka if she can accompany him for his match tonight.

Coach Bloom meets with Booker T, Booker T gets Dorian Van Dux vs. Braxton Cole. Bloom needs Van Dux to be less of a "moves" guy, and wants Braxton to work with the "weiner" chants and show some more emotion with it. Kevin Owens gets Layla Diggs vs. Myka Lockwood; Coach Bloom says the light bulb is going on for both women when it comes to storytelling and wants to see what both women can do. Bubba Ray gets Harlem Lewis vs. Tristan Angels, who Bloom says will get his opportunity yet is not as good as he thinks he is, and feels Tristan Angels is getting comfortable in the ring and getting things together yet needs to learn to be a great heel. Bully Ray notes that Harlem Lewis feels frustrated and that both men should get some freedom, but Coach Bloom tells Bubba Ray to make sure they do not overcomplicate.

Booker T meets with Braxton Cole and Dorian Van Dux. Braxton looks forward to working with Van Dux, Booker T says Braxton has a lot of talent and is pretty close, and Dorian Van Dux has some fun learning from Booker T.

Dorian Van Dux beats Braxton Cole with an inside cradle. Braxton Cole has a "How to Speak Belgian" book on the way to the ring, and has some fun with the "weiner" chants. After the match, Booker T calls the match a learning experience, and Coach Bloom tells Dorian that while he can do a lot, he needs to work on psychology. Bloom says Braxton did a lot better playing into the "weiner" chants, then mentions that there needs to be an entrance where he can play into the "winner/weiner" exchange with the fans.

Kevin Owens meets with Myka Lockwood and Layla Diggs. Owens likes what Myka and Layla are working with. Layla wants to show that she can fight back and hang with Myka in their match.

Myka Lockwood beats Layla Diggs. Before the match, Tristan Angels does a less-than-flattering ring introduction for Myla Lockwood's through a megaphone, and after the match, he hilariously declares Myka the winner. After the match, Owens says everything went great, but says that Layla Diggs' entrance fits more for a heel, while Tristan Angels on the microphone makes Myka Lockwood more likeable; nevertheless, he says it is good that they are able to switch between heel and face when they need to. Bloom says Tristan should have been at ringside rather than in the crowd. Myka says that she felt challenged having to react to Tristan. Bloom says that Layla Diggs had a solid match and says that the cut-off spot was great. Layla feels that her strikes could have been tighter, and Bloom compliments Layla for calling herself out on what she needs to work on.

Bubba Ray Dudley meets with Harlem Lewis and Tristan Angels. Bubba Ray tells Harlem that he is not as good as he thinks he is, but he agrees that Harlem feels overproduced, and gives both men freedom for their match. Tristan wants Harlem to be a beast while he is a chickenshit heel, and Bubba wants Tristan to give him reasons to really hate him by being scummy however he can. He tells both men to do the match they want to do and to live or die by it, and that the success or failure of their match will fall squarely on them.

Tristan Angels beats Harlem Lewis. During the match, Myka Lockwood shows up and watches from ringisde, and that distracts Harlem to the point that Tristan gets the advantage. Tristan is also confused as to why Myka is at ringside. Bubba Ray is impressed by Harlem's slingshot vertical suplex. Near the end of the match, Myka Lockwood trips Harlem Lewis behind the referee's back, and that allows Tristan Angels to get the win. After the match, Myka Lockwood carries Tristan Angels to the back. Afterwards, Shawn Michaels tells Harlem to work on his overhand chops, and Bubba Ray Dudley shows his approval for the match. Harlem Lewis is satisfied with how the match went, and Tristan Angels says that they rose to the occasion and it paid off.
