At the Performance Center, Romeo Moreno spraypaints a mural on the mat of one of the practice rings. He compares it to a wrestling match, as there are moments where you can get something cool out of it, but there are moments where you can really mess up.
Coach Matt Bloom meets with Kevin Owens, Bubba Ray Dudley and Booker T. Bubba Ray gets Harley Riggins vs. Shady Elhanas, and Bloom wants to get the "goofy" out of Riggins and to see more aggression out of Kevin Owens gets Kali Armstrong vs. Nikkita Lyons, with Kali being too good of a heel to get cheered to the point that Bloom wants to get the crowd to turn on her, while Nikkita Lyons is "a star in the making" and wants to see if she can get better following her return from injury. Booker T gets Kam Hendrix and Romeo Moreno. Hendrix is Moreno is not pandering to the crowd as much, but Moreno wants Romeo to "go straight, rather than left or right."
Bubba Ray Dudley meets with Harley Riggins and Shady Elnahas. Bubba tells Riggins to stop being goofy and "be fucking big," and tells Elnahas to show his toughness and his ability. Riggins learns how to properly boot someone after they get off the top rope.
Shady Elnahas beats Harley Riggins. During the match, Riggins runs to Elnahas to kick him following his jump out of the corner rather than doing it the same way he learned practicing the match, which upsets Bubba Ray to the point that Booker T has to tell him to relax. After the match, Bubba Ray wants Shady Elnahas to give him some excitement when he comes to the ring. He mentions that there is no extension to Riggins' kick at the beginning of the match. Bubba also wants Elnahas to be more crisp on getting to the top rope, and Riggins feels that he is to blame for the hiccup at the end. Coach Matt Bloom tells Riggins not to grab the top rope while being hit in the gut, and tells Elnahas that he will get better at adding more flavor to his perception with time.
Jazz meets with Nikkia Lyons and Kali Armstrong for their match and gives some pointers. Kali notes that she is a swaggy and likeable person with a vibe people like, but knows that she needs to be booed for this match. Kevin Owens also gives some pointers for the match, as well.
Nikkita Lyons beats Kali Armstrong after countering the Kali Connection with a roundhouse kick to the face. Nikkita's parents are seen in the front row before the match. After the match, Kevin Owens says everything looked good, but Nikkita and Kali need to get more out of everything, as everything felt rushed. Kali says she felt good feedback. Owens feels that both women are the future. Coach Bloom tells Nikkita to give the fans something when they are cheering for her, and mentions that Nikkita's finisher was really good. Coach Bloom also gets to meet Nikkita's parents.
Booker T meets with Romeo Moreno and Kam Hendrix. Hendrix feels connected to Booker T, and Moreno says that he and Hendrix are telling two different stories, both of them about their abilities. Booker T mentions that both men's body languages have to look clean and artistic.
Romeo Moreno beats Kam Hendrix. Moreno's parents are seen in the front row before the match. After the match, Coach Bloom and Shawn Michaels compliment both men, and Booker T says he saw a lot of improvement in both men, and says that Moreno will have to settle himself in and figure out what he needs to do, while Hendrix is so close to getting to the next level. Afterwards, Romeo meets with his mother outside of the Performance Center.
