Generation NXT - NXT recap for July 15, 2025

Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Jacy Jayne admits that Jordynne Grace attacked her throat and damaged her vocal cords. She accuses Jazmyn Nyx of dropping the ball, then says Jazmyn and Fallon made up for it for making sure she shocked everyone. Fallon states that Jacy will continue to be champion for a long time, and Jacy states that at Slammiversary, she will face Masha Slamovich, and while Masha is great, she will be walking out with both women's titles. Masha Slamovich shows up and says Jacy Jayne is champion is only champion because Blake Monroe smashes Jordynne Grace in the back with the NXT Women's title, and says that it took four people for Jacy to win. Masha says she will shock the world and walk out with both titles, but Jacy says that Masha will never touch her title. Suddenly, Sol Ruca and Zaria show up, and Sol Ruca says she is not only double champion and she has her money on Masha. Zaria says that Sol Ruca had three matches last weekend, and that all they have to do to make a statement is get in the ring. After Fatal Influence talks back, Masha, Sol Ruca and Zaria start a brawl and clear out the ring.



We see a video package chronicling the history of The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, Adrianne Rizzo). Part One is "The Birth of 'The Don.'"

Mike Santana, Joe Hendry and Trick Williams vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin) ends with The System (Eddie Edwards, Bryan Myers, JDC) showing up and brawling with DarkState until security shows up.



Backstage, Arianna Grace says that the Evolution Battle Royal was missing some grace. Karmen Petrovic also feels like she should have been in, then Kali Armstrong shows up and says she should have been in it, saying she would have won it and gotten a title shot. Karmen takes this as Kali running her mouth and wants to challenge her for the Evolve Women's Championship, which Kali welcomes, much to Arianna's surprise.

We see Part Two of the history of The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, Adrianne Rizzo), "Enter the Underboss."

Karmen Petrovic vs. Kali Armstrong for the Evolve Championship ends with Jordynne Grace, who shows up before the match even starts, getting into the ring and laying out both women before demanding an explanation from Blake Monroe concerning her actions at The Great American Bash. Robert Stone and Stevie Turner show up and tell Jordynne that Blake is not here, but then a video shows up where it is revealed that Blake Monroe does not consider Jordynne worthy of anything. She then gives Jordynne a front-row seat invite to her singles debut so she can see the difference between them. Stevie gets a forearm, while Stone gets a spinebuster. General Manager Ava then shows up with security.



Team Undertaker (Bayley Humphrey, Dani Sekelsky, Shiloh Hill, Drake Morreaux) is backstage when Trick Williams completely disrespects them and tells them to get out of the way. Shiloh Hill then gets a phone call from The Undertaker.



Backstage, General Manager Ava meets with Jasper Troy and calls his actions last weekend unacceptable. She tells him that things are settled in the ring and that if he wants to keep his momentum going, he will do it in the matches that she gives him. Jasper Troy says he was minding his own business when Ricky Starks went into his territory. Ava then gives Jasper Troy a match with Ricky Sants. Jasper Tory says that Ricky Saints will bend the knee and that he is going to break him.

We see Part Three of the history of The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, Adrianne Rizzo): "Rise and Fall of the Family."

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Lash Legend. Lash Legend brags about what she did in the Evolution Battle Royal and how she could have won the whole thing. She then states that she will meet whoever wins between Masha Slamovich and Jacy Jayne at Slammiversary, then Jaida Parker shows up and brags about what she did in the battle royal and that she will be facing a double champion, not her.

Tony D'Angelo beats Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Luca Crusifino in a Family Business Match.

Backstage, Tavion Heights talks with Wren Sinclair. Sinclair says she did not want to see Tavion Heights get injured, but Tavion says he knows what he is capable of as an individual. Charlie Dempsey shows up and says that there is always next week, but Sinclair says she has a week next week, and if Tavion wants to be in her corner, it is his choice, as she does not want to leave No Quarter Catch Crew (Dempsey, Tavion, Sinclair).

Josh Briggs is in the ring. He says that he did everything he could to make sure Yoshiki Inamura became champoin, and says that he is mad not because Inamura did not want to win as much as he wanted him to, but because he has been here for four years yet has never had a title shot. He says Inamura is "too nice" in a cutthroat business and that one must take the shot by any means necessary. Oba Femi shows up and heads to the ring, and says Briggs' presence and jealousy had the ability to cause trouble and that it ruined the match, even though he knew he would win. He says he saw Oba drowning in the deep end only for Inamura to give him air. He says that Oba is about to break and that his reign will not last forever, then Inamura shows up and tells Briggs that he does not speak for him. Oba says that Inamura deserve a rematch, but Briggs does not deserve a thing. Inamura says he will do what it takes to win and that he will do it his way, and Briggs wants the match to be a Triple Threat Match. Oba tells Briggs his pride will be his eventual downfall, then Briggs and Oba brawl. As this goes on, Inamura is inadvertently hit, and all three men have to be held back by officials and security.



We hear from "All Ego" Ethan Page, who acknowledges both Canada Day and Independence Day, then brags about retaining the NXT North American Championship against Ricky Saints for the countries it represents. He then announces that there will be a championship celebration, and that he will have it in Houston, Texas.

Backstage, Kelly Kincaid interviews Ricky Saints. Saints that that he will show up and show out, and while "All Ego" Ethan Page may have beaten him, Jasper Troy picked a fight with the wrong man and that Jasper will find out why he is what he says he is next week.

Backstage, Sol Ruca and Zaria show their support for Masha Slamovich at Slammiversary. In the background, The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame) meets with Tatum Paxley, and Izzi Dame tells Tatum Paxley she is not mad at her after last weekend. Tatum says she has an idea.

Masha Slamovich, Sol Ruca and Zaria beat Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) after Sol Ruca and Zaria take down The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame) and Tatum Paxley with the help of Hank Walker and Tank Ledger while Masha becomes a one-woman army and hits Jacy with the Snow Plow.
