Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Lyra Valkyria. Lyra says there is a lot going on in her head, and taht she is embarrassed for feeding into everything that Becky Lynch told her. She says Becky could have had a friend for life in her had she not attacked her, and while Becky is the superstar, she is the better wrestler and she is not a stepping stone as Becky becomes the crowning name of people she has defended the Women's Intercontinental Championship against.
Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews LA Knight. Knight says he is not just a workhorse, but a champion, and he stands here as a champion. He says that he is alright with coming to blows with Damian Priest as they are goingat it tonight, then says that he should not have to be dealing with Drew McIntyre, but he still has something for him, anyway. Knight then says that Jacob Fatu is the one that he is gunning or, and if anyone gets in his way, the backlash will be severe and everyone will know who the real champion is.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Dominik says he has already beaten Penta at WrestleMania, even though he pinned Finn Balor to do it, and that he also won on Monday, although Saxton mentions that it was with JD McDonagh's help. He then says that he is going to win against Penta tonight, then threatens to do Saxton's job for him.

Jacob Fatu retains the WWE United States Championship against LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest in a Fatal 4-Way Match after Priest takes McIntyre South of Heaven through a table and Solo Sikoa saves Jacob Fatu from a splash through the announce table, which leads to LA Knight being attacked from behind by Jeff Cobb. (One of the members of medical staff that checks on Priest and McIntyre is independent wrestler Nixi XS.)
Night of Champions will take place in Saudi Arabia and will be live on Peacock and Netflix on June 28th!
Lyra Valkyria retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch following a series of pinfall attempts despite Becky poking Lyra in the eyes. After the match, Becky immediately goes back on the attack on Lyra and puts her in the Dis-Arm-Her. During the match, Becky Lynch taunts Lyra's fiancée in the front row. Referees and officials show up to restore order and break the hold. Becky Lynch tries to rush back into the ring, but Jason Jordan refuses to let her do that.
"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Penta. During the match, Carlito distracts the referee so that JD McDonagh and Finn Balor can attack Penta, but all three of them get ejected. Shortly afterwards, Finn Balor distracts the referee, which allows El Grande Americano to hit Penta with a headbutt with a loaded mask. Dominik then hits the top rope splash to retain.
Gunther beats Pat McAfee by submission with the sleeper hold despite some help near the end by Michael Cole. Gunther shows McAfee respect after the match.
Technical Seargant Michael Perkins is the recipients of the military spotlight and the Whatley American Vodka Seat Upgrade.
John Cena retains the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in a match that sees two referees get knocked down (the first one more than once), SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and four other officials getting RKO's from Orton (one of whom is played by independent wrestling Austin Mulitalo), and R-Truth getting in the way of a Randy Orton only to receive a RKO. The last moment allows Cena to hit Orton with a low blow followed by the WWE Championship to reain after the first referee comes to again and counts the pinfall. After the match, Cena demands competition.
