Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian, Mother Wayne). Christian Cage takes the Ring of Honor World Television Championship from Nick Wayne, saying that if it were not for him, he would not even be champion. He says that when he shuts up and listens, things happen. Nick Wayne says that when you stick to the plan, you win championships. Christian hands the title back, says "I love my family," then leaves.
Mark Briscoe beats Ricochet after Ricochet uses the middle turnbuckle for leverage on a pinfall attempt only for Briscoe to reverse with a pinfall attempt of his own and win. After the match, Ricochet hits Briscoe with a metal folding chair repeatedly, then pulls out his golden scissors. Suddenly, Kevin Knight shows up and fights Ricochet, then keeps him from using his scissors. Ricochet runs away. Afterwards, The Rock 'n Roll Express (Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton) are seen watching in the crowd.
Tony Schiavone is about to interview FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) in the ring when Stokely Hathaway suddenly shows up for the first time in months and introduces FTR. FTR and Stokely head to the ring, and Stokely addresses FTR's suspension and fine by stating that worse has been done by Ricochet, "Hangman" Adam Page and Jon Moxley, who have all gotten away unpunished. Stokely says he will have the suspension expunged from FTR's permanent record and their fine removed, and from here, anyone who wants to speak with FTR will have to speak with him, as he is now FTR's agent. Cash Wheeler thanks Stokely for his work and says what happened with last week with Daniel Garcia was not an easy decision, but Garcia gave them no choice and made his own decision. He also says that Matt Menard and Angelo Parker got in their face without being ready for a fight, yet they stopped in respect of Garcia, who FTR considers their friend. Wheeler reminds Garcia that FTR helped him get to the TNT Championship and that FTR put AEW first, but now, they are putting themselves first from now on. Harwood mentions that The Rock 'n Roll Express (Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton) are in the crowd, and asks them to come to the ring, which they do. Harwood declares themselves and The Rock 'n Roll Express are the best tag teams of all team, but refuses to let them speak when he asks what their best match ever was and says The Midnight Express was better. He also refuses to let them speak and says that The Rock 'n Roll Express are over 100 years old, but Ricky Gibson refuses to let them do this a third time. Stokely says there is no need for hostility and offers a "FTR: Living Legend Killers" shirt before FTR attacks them. Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly) - now known as "Paragon" - rush to the ring and force FTR to retreat as they make the save for The Rock 'n Roll Express.
The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight after Ricochet distracts Kevin Knight while The Young Bucks distract the referee.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Timeless" Toni Storm and Luther. Toni says the participants in the women's Owen Hart Tournament are the pre-eminent athletes in AEW, then mentions that she will be a film festival before declaring at on Collision, she will issue an open challenge AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator match. Queen Aminata shows up and accepts the challenge.
The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin) heads to the ring. MVP proclaims that every team they have retained the AEW World Tag Team Championships against have yet to return after losing to The Hurt Syndicate, including Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Before Lashley can speak, a black sports car with a spoiler shows up in the building, and MJF climbs out of the car, treats a backstage worker like a valet before punching him in the crotch, and heads to the ring. MJF wants three thumbs up from The Hurt Syndicate again. MJF gives the thumbs up, and this time, so does Shelton. MJF celebrates, but Shelton stops him, saying he did it because of MVP, not because of a watch and some women. MJF, then sensing Lashley is about to give him a thumbs down, notes that Lashley has his reservations, says Lashley brings a lot to the table, but says that he brings things to the table that Lashley cannot as he knows the company, can cut corners and can win by any means necessary better than anyone. He says that if he is in, they will not run just AEW, but all of professional wrestling. MJF admits he has been a bit prickly over the rejection, then says "I'm sorry" after some effort. He also throws the black sports car that he showed up in the arena in for free. Lashley wants to see the keys, and MJF offers to head to the back so he can see the keys. Backstage, The Hurt Syndicate checks out the car, which is a Corvette, and Lashley gives the thumbs down before driving off with Shelton.
Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Hangman" Adam Page. Hangman says that when he sees "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher, he will put him in the ground. MJF shows up, and after MJF and Hangman crack jokes at each other, MJF states he will slide through the back door and become a two-time World Champion. Hangman says that MJF will have to figure something out soon when he cannot join The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin), because he cannot win matches or win championships. MJF reminds him they are 1-1 and that he will send him back to the glue factory where he belongs next time, and proclaims that Hangman will choke in the men's Owen Hart tournament. Hangman tells MJF he will give him something to choke on.
Don Callis guests on commentary for the next match.
The Don Callis Family ("The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita) beat Will Ospreay and Brody King after Lance Archer shows up and distracts the referee, costing Brody King a pinfall victory. After the match, Lance Archer choke slams Will Ospreay and scares away the referee, then Kyle Fletcher shows up. Before he can do anything to Ospreay, "Hangman" Adam Page shows up, but he is attacked from behind by Trent Berretta and Rocky Romero. Hangman, Brody and Ospreay all get ganged up on, and Fletcher hits Hangman with a brainbuster.
Jamie Hayter beats Kris Statlander to advance to the finals of the women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Mercedes Moné, who she will face in the finals at Double or Nothing, shows up to congratulate Jamie Hayter.
