Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kenny Omega. He admits he has not been a model employee or friend in the last couple of years and has done things he is not proud of, and he was once fooled by Don Callis as well. He says he has thought long and hard where he and The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson) stand, and states that if both The Young Bucks and the fans are willing to accept them, then who is he to state that The Bucks do not deserve a second chance. Omega goes back into his dressing room, then The Young Bucks leave through the same door Omega emerged from.

In backstage footage from Full Gear, Mark Briscoe says that there are moment where there are no words. He says that family is the most important thing to him, and that it has been a long road since Jay Briscoe passed away. He questioned if he could go on, but he had to keep going on for the both of them, and while he has suffered loss after loss and disappointment after disappoint, when family was on the line, he stepped up. Briscoe dedicates his TNT Championship win to both his blood family and his real family.

The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) beat Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue) to advance in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Tony Schiavone introduces The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Katsuyori Shibata) to the ring. No sooner does Samoa Joe demand Schiavone leave the ring does Prince Nana pull up with Swerve Strickland, who heads to the ring with a staple gun before "Hangman" Adam Page joins him. Joe tells Shibata to "get the scrubs," and Shibata leaves and soon returns with members of the Opps Dojo as Joe commences his championship celebration, saying that everything went to plan and he became AEW World Champion. Joe then introduces a video package that focuses on Hook and also shows his reunion with The Opps at Full Gear before telling the fans that they can have a champion who can be called the greatest in the industry. He then brings out Hook, calling him "the lynchpin of this grand endeavor," and Hook heads to the ring as footage of his betrayal of Hangman plays repeatedly on the video screen as his entrance theme plays. Hook says the fans are too stupid to realize they are seeing the greatest second-generation wrestler that they have ever seen, then Swerve shows up in the crowd with a chain wrapped around him with Hangman showing up, having a shot, grabbing a beer and joining him. The Opps Dojo run into the crowd after them, but Hangman and Swerve easily drop everyone in their path before entering the ring. The dojo members keep Hangman and Swerve away from The Opps, but they are easily taken down. The last two dojo members soon get hung from the edge of the ring with metal chains, and referees have to stop Swerve and Hangman from doing any further damage.

We hear from Jon Moxley in backstage footage from Full Gear, who says that Darby Allin and Kyle O'Reilly are not real professional wrestlers and that they have never lived the life, then says it is not over and that there is no time to celebrate, for there is always the next fight.

Jon Moxley beats Mascara Dorada by submission in the Blue League of the Continental Classic with a modified sleeper hold. Jon Moxley wins three points. After the match, "Timeless" Toni Storm heads to the ring, and Moxley has to keep Marina Shafir back as Toni says that while Shafir operations in fear and hate, she operates in love in ways that are more violent than she can imagine. "Timeless" Toni Storm then says that her stipulation must be brutal enough to exact revenge and entertaining enough for the fans, and after not sleeping for four days straight, she realized she did not get anything for Mina Shirakawa anything for Christmas. She then says that Mina will get an early gift involving "two slop tarts' heads on a silver platter" with a Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch.

Backstage, we hear from Eddie Kingston. He says he does not want to talk about Hook right now, then addresses Samoa Joe, saying that while he is not in line for a title shot, he does plan on beating up Katsuyori Shibata on Collision.

Claudio Castagnoli beats Orange Cassidy Blue League of the Continental Classic by pinfall. Claudio Castagnoli earns three points. After the match, the rest of The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, PAC, Daniel Garcia Marina Shafir) enter the ring, and when Renee Paquette interviews Claudio Castagnoli, everyone in The Death Riders attack Orange. This leads to everyone in both leagues of the Continental Classic jumping in for a massive brawl. The brawl ends with Mascara Dorado taking out just about everyone except "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada on the outside and Orange Cassidy hitting an Orange Punch on PAC.
