Let's Go! - LFG recap for February 16, 2025

At the Performance Center, Shawn Michaels meets with Bubba Ray Dudley, Mickie James, Booker T and The Undertaker about mentoring sixteen Performance Center athletes, with the four of them competing against each other to become the first LFG Champion.

We are introduced to the sixteen Future Greats chosen for the show. Shawn Michaels meets with them all regarding mentoring and training from the very best WWE has ever seen. Everyone will be broken up into teams of four, each under a mentor, and a mentor will earn one point if a member of their team is declared a standout. They are then introduced to Bubba Ray Dudley, Mickie James, Booker T and The Undertaker. Despite Bubba Ray Dudley saying he is not shaking hands until they deserve it, Bradley "BJ" Ray is taken aback by Bubba Ray Dudley not wanting to shake his hand. Afterwards, the Legends meet with the Future Greats, then see how they do in the ring while also giving advice. We are introduced to Shiloh Hill, Zena Sterling, Drake Morreaux, Anthony Luke, and Dani Sekelsky. We learn more about Shiloh Hill (a former Division I football standout), Anthony Luke (who is trained in multiple sports and whose girlfriend is Maxxine Dupri), and Dani Ray Sekelsky (who started out as cheerleader and worked her way to the NFL).

Ring announcer Alicia Taylor introduces the promo portion of the day. We are introduced to Tyra Mae Steele (an Olympic gold medalist and two-time amateur world champion), Jasper Troy, Leigh Laurel, Elijah Holyfield (the son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, who has only been in the Performance Center for one week), Troy Yearwood, Bayley Humphrey, Tatyanna Dumas, Penina Tuialepa, and Brayden "BJ" Ray (a Division I wrestler from Duke University), Sirena Linton, When Brayden "BJ" Ray does his promo, he and Bubba Ray Dudley verbally go at it. The Undertaker does not take very well to the disrespect, and tells him to have some common sense. After Brayden leaves, the Legends agree that Brayden has talent, but that he has the potential to mess it up.

The Legends announce that Dany will face Tyra Mae, while Shiloh will face Anthony. The winners of these two matches will be allowed to pick their mentors. After the wrestlers meet with their coaches for quick preparations, they have their matches.

Anthony Luke beats Shiloh Hill after using the top rope for leverage during his pinfall attempt. During the match, the Legends not that Anthony Luke is not being heelish enough even though he is supposed to be the heel in the match, even though Anthony showed out just a little bit more and showed a little more confidence. Nevertheless, Anthony gets the 3-1 nod from the Legends.

Tyra Mae Steele beats Dana Sekelsky. The Legends notice that the women have more charisma than the men, and that Tyra Mae Steele is a more visible heel than Anthony Luke. The Legends are proud of both them for outshining the men, and Tyra edges out Dana on the vote. Tyra calls her husband on help on who to choose for her mentor.

Tyra Mae Steele picks The Undertaker for her mentor on the advice of her husband. Anthony Luke picks Booker T after seeing him as the best pick stylistically and having grown up watching him. We also get to see Anthony do the Spinarooni, which Booker T says will be flawless if he gets to work with him for a week.
